Veterans Employment Safety Net

HirePatriots' mission is to solve US veteran unemployment by creating a nationwide employment safety net for US Armed Forces personnel, past and present, across America . We provide communities with their own “One Day” job board to hire their area’s veterans and a nationwide  “Careers” job board that is connected to the social networks. We are experiencing a pressing need to accelerate creating new Chapters as the rate of servive members leaving active duty is increasing every month.

Our 2015 Mission
HirePatriots is continuing its mission in 2015 with a goal of creating 24 community chapters across America. A chapter is lead by a patriotic business leader and like-minded volunteers from the community. Each chapter creates a local employment safety net that supports their local US military, veterans and their families.

The cost to create each new chapter is $5,000. Our projected cost for these 24 new HirePatriots chapters is $120,000.

There are many thousands of full time job boards. But there is just one that offers a free One Day job board for residents to hire local US veterans: HirePatriots.com. HirePatriots is a community project that helps seniors, residents, businesses, students and veterans. It stimulates the local economies. The One Day jobs are why we are so popular and what sets us apart from all other job boards and veteran outreaches. That is also why we get media attention when others do not. Our Job Is Not Done
The day that every willing U.S. citizen who has worn the military uniform of our country and served with honor and distinction has a job will mark the end of our mission.

"The unemployment rate for veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time since September 2001--a group referred to as Gulf War-era II veterans--edged down to 9.0 percent in 2013, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today." Thursday, March 20, 2014

Let me translate that 9% for you.  That 9% represents 722,000 veterans who do not have a full-time job that should be providing food, clothing, transportation, and shelter for their families.  When you add in their spouses and children, that's over 1,000,000 (million) people who go without the basic necessities of life that you and I enjoy every day.  This is a national disgrace.
